What is Hypnotherapy?

Hypnosis is a state of profound relaxation that you allow yourself to enter. You remain completely in control and you can choose to come out of hypnosis at any time. We all enter the hypnotic state several times each day, it is that natural day-dreaming-like state between waking and sleep. In this special state, you can learn very quickly; which is why you can experience such benefits from hypnotherapy.

The benefits of the state of hypnosis itself are increased levels of relaxation which, working with your coach, can help you to find new resources and responses, new thoughts and new feelings; and to dispel negative ones.

Hypnosis is similar to meditation, except that you have an experienced professional to guide you. You are not letting go of anything, not disclosing anything, not doing anything against your will. Rather, you are being guided to a special state of deep relaxation where new learning, new insights, and positive changes can quickly and effectively take place.
