Wheel of Life Exercise
Everyone knows that having a balance in life is important because we can be more content and more alive and enjoy what we are doing. The wheel of life exercise allows you to determine whether you are focusing too much on one part of your life and so neglecting others. The wheel is divided into sections. Rank your level of satisfaction with each area of your life.
DIRECTIONS:
Wheel of Life - Stage One Review
The eight sections in the Wheel of Life represent balance. Regarding the centre of the wheel as 0 and the outer edge as 10, rank your level of satisfaction with each life area by drawing a straight or curved line to create a new outer edge. The new perimeter of the circle represents your current Wheel of Life.
Your result shows you the degree to which you are satisfied with your level of balance in your life. The more shading there is, the more you are fulfilled in this area of your life. Which are your low spots - the areas you are least satisfied with? Make a list of them and rank them in order of importance to you at this point in time. What number would you like this area of your life to be scoring. Wheel of Life - Stage 2 Planning
Using the Wheel Life that you have completed and the prioritise you have set, mark on each segment the level you would like to achieve within 6 months and then one year.
Using your prioritised list create a vision for each of the segments.
Now make your plan to move you forward by setting realistic goals for yourself.
